Who We Are

The Central Rocky Mountain Region is one of 32 Regions comprised by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.  Our Future Story describes us as a web of relationships committed to ministries of justice and compassion as disciples of Jesus Christ.  As individuals and congregations, with our Regional Ministry Team and Board, and in connection with the General and Ecumenical Church, we create, sustain and renew these relationships and ministries through a shared commitment to our four Core Values and our three Core Ministries.

Our core values are diversity, innovation, communication, and empowerment. Our core ministries are congregational life, ministerial life, and regional life.

Each local congregation in the Central Rocky Mountain Region is self-governing and self-sustaining. Congregations call their own ministers and may own and encumber their own property. They exist in covenant with every other congregation of the Central Rocky Mountain Region as well as the other Disciples congregations in the United States and Canada.

We are Disciples of Christ,
a movement for wholeness
in a fragmented world.
As part of the one body of Christ,
we welcome all to the Lord’s Table
as God has welcomed us.
